03/01/2011 Unfortunately the 70’s had me jumping on the 10-speed craze (cheap road bikes ) and by ’77 I had my drivers license and a car and didn’t own or ride a bike again until 1993 when I got my 1st mtb.

So I pretty much missed the birth of mountain biking (and even BMX) simply because I wasn’t paying attention.
