Superior Drummer & EZdrummer.

EZDrummer 1, and earlier Addictive Drum VSTi’s.

I myself prefer Superior Drummer , and EZDrummer 1 over earlier AD.

Primarily because the earlier AD’s mapping was whacked, plus AD didn’t seem to fit within the context of a mix, though sounds great all by itself.

But all of them are very good IMO.

19/06/2020 I have Slate, EZ Drummer and XLN Addictive Drums.

Addictive Drums has way better beats and fills than the other two imho, more interesting and realistic.

I found the EZD beats kind of bland and boring and Slate really didnt have much, seems more geared towards electronic drummers and sound replacement.

18/06/2019 EZ Drummer is marginally less expensive, but not so much to be really a factor.

My initial use is mostly for demo, but I#d like to learn to program realistic drums and in perspective even use them for actual productions, so long I manage to make them of the quality I need.

Genre goes from acoustic songs to hard rock (no metal).

26/10/2018 Probably the most asked question in the history of midi drums , but I’ve been playing a bit with the demos and would like to hear any user opinons.

The AD 2 demo is limited to very few kit pieces so hard to evaluate fully.

The EZDrummer 2 demo was full #, 29/09/2016 So this is a little comparison of EZdrummer 2 vs.

Addictive Drums vs.

Steven Slate drums 4 vs.

Superior Drummer 2.

To start I#ll say that Addictive Drums sound really good, it#s very easy to use, it has tons of options and it#s not very expensive.

It comes with a lot of functionality also.

09/12/2015 I have EZ Drummer 2, Superior, BFD Eco and Studio Drummer.

I have found myself using EZ to lay stuff out due to it’s awesome interface, then play back the results in Superior.

My trick is to then send that to an awesome drummer friend and let him convert my idea to real drumming on his Roland drums via Superior.

12/12/2017 I have Addictive Drums 2 and EZDrummer.

I far prefer the sound of the drums in Addictive Drums , so it has become my go to.

But EZDrummer has a much better interface for searching for beats and assembling songs.

They’re just different.

There’s a lot to be said for both.

Addictive Drums often have a 50% off sale.

04/06/2015 I have both and agree with that.

Addictive Drums has a certain sound that takes work to get from other drum programs.

More “produced” or “round” sound to it.

EZdrummer kits sound a bit more natural, somewhat more crisp.

I think the default V2 kits are excellent and much better than most the packs that came before it that I’ve heard.
